HDPE pipe has distinct installation advantages due to the fact it is lightweight. The pipe can be assembled on shore in a continuous flexible length and floated on the water’s surface. Pipes are then sunk for positioning using concrete weights. The pipe can also be manufactured in specific lengths and flag connected onsite with the aid of marine divers.

HDPE pipe offers flexibility, heat-fused leak-free joints and strength over time. Its resistance to both corrosion and zebra mussel fouling make it an ideal solution in lake and river applications.
